As a general rule, spring is appropriate for inducing vomiting.
When an emetic decoction is used, stop once it meets the illness. There is no need to finish the preparation.
Repletion disorders above in the chest may cause constrained chest pain, inability to eat, a wish for someone to press the area, yet thin saliva and spitting, diarrhea more than ten times daily, an unexpectedly slow pulse and a faint, slippery cunkou pulse. Vomiting may be induced; once vomiting occurs, diarrhea stops.
Retained food in the upper Stomach region should be expelled by vomiting.
A patient's hands and feet are reversely cold and the pulse suddenly binds, because guest qi is in the chest. Fullness and agitation below the Heart, with a wish to eat but inability to do so, locate the illness in the chest. Vomiting should be induced.
